Program charter

Trailblazers In Campus (TIC) is a volunteer Salesforce campus program. Yogesh Sharma founded it in December 2022. This is the public charter for the work the Strategic Advisory Council supports.

Inception

Trailblazers In Campus (TIC) was founded by Yogesh Sharma in December 2022 to help college students find the right direction for their technology careers.

At the time, many students wanted a career in technology but lacked the guidance to see which technology, career path, or skill set was the right fit. TIC was created to fill that gap by introducing students to the Salesforce ecosystem and giving them access to industry knowledge, practical learning, community interaction, and career guidance.

What started as a simple vision has grown into a community-driven initiative that has engaged 5,000+ students with the Salesforce ecosystem and conducted workshops across 25+ colleges in India.

Mission

Help students discover a technology career path that fits them, and provide the knowledge, guidance, and Salesforce ecosystem exposure they need to take a confident first step toward a successful career.

Through TIC, we introduce Salesforce to students, help them understand the opportunities within the ecosystem, and inspire them to become the next generation of Salesforce Trailblazers.

Vision

Build a strong global student community that connects aspiring technology professionals with the Salesforce ecosystem. TIC started in India, and the vision is not limited to India. We aim to expand TIC globally, reach and empower more students, and help nurture the future Salesforce workforce and future Trailblazers through chapters, college partners, and community leadership.

How we work

TIC is a community-led initiative and free of charge. The program is powered by volunteers, community group leaders, Salesforce MVPs, and industry professionals who share knowledge, conduct workshops, mentor students, and help build the next generation of Salesforce talent. There is no commercial barrier for students.

Impact

Since inception, TIC has engaged 5,000+ students with the Salesforce ecosystem and conducted workshops and awareness sessions across 25+ colleges in India. These initiatives have been made possible through the collective support of TIC volunteers, community group leaders, Salesforce MVPs, and industry professionals who contribute their time, knowledge, and experience.

Engaged here means students who took part in a TIC campus session or workshop path.

What a student gets

Greater clarity about career options, a better understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, and a concrete next step. That next step may be a Trailhead starting path, a small campus problem to build, or a mentor or community touchpoint after the session.

What a college gets

A free, volunteer-led campus session that introduces Salesforce and technology career paths without a commercial pitch. Students leave knowing what to do next, and the college hosts a practical, community-powered learning experience.

Goal

We want every student who engages with TIC to leave with greater clarity about their career options, a better understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, and the confidence to take the next step in their technology journey.
