Cost is per agent run, not a shared cloud bill. Track tokens, model routing, and anomalies. Model choice matches the job. A fleet without budgets is not governed, even if prompts look tidy.
Each run card needs agent, model, tokens, and owner. The registry name on that card is the same name as the registry . The owner is the same person as owners .
Per-run dossier
- Agent The registry name of the worker that spent the tokens.
- Model The model that ran, not a pooled "LLM" line on a cloud bill.
- Tokens Prompt and completion tokens for this run.
- Owner The named owner who can explain why this run was allowed.
Model choice is a node decision
Orchestration already picks how much LLM the path is allowed. Cost accounting has to follow that choice per run. An executor that spent zero model tokens is a fact, not a missing invoice line. An orchestrator that called three models needs three lines, not a pooled "LLM" bucket.
Node types are on guided determinism . Remaining room, not a post-mortem, is capacity .
